Replica gas tank is single cap style with a fuel capacity of 2.4 gallons,
and a right side petcock location.
The tank is a stock styled high tunnel tank that features stock mounts and filler neck.
It uses a 1955-74 petcock
Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting.
Do not grind or sand the seams or joints.
Clean the inside of the tank.
It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer.
Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed.
The petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock.
