Where to find your VIN
The VIN is stamped on the right side of the steering head (the frame neck) and printed on a label on the frame down tube. It is also on your registration or title. Harleys built from 1981 on have 17-character VINs.
How the lookup works
17-character VINs (1981 on) are decoded with NHTSA vPIC, the vehicle database of the US Department of Transportation, which gives the model (e.g. FLHX Street Glide) and model year. We match it to its family (Touring, Softail, Dyna, Sportster, V-Rod…) and show the parts whose titles name that family and year.
